• Would you like to get REAL support towards getting your career on track?

50   lucky young people will be accepted into the Southern Edge program which is being delivered by the Office for Youth and Southern Futures.

Think you might be interested?

Check out the criteria!

• You live in the Southern Adelaide region (Marion Council or Onkaparinga Council areas).

• You finished year 12 or left year 12 or year 11 early.  You have to have left school and not doing any accredited training.

• You are between the ages of 16 - 24 years old.

• You are unemployed or not working very many hours.

• You could really use some help to get your career life on track.

• You are interested in considering a job in an area of skills shortage (community services, health, manufacturing).

What we need from you...

• A willingness to have fun and learn!

• A 12 month commitment to participate (This is flexible though and doesn't afftect Centrelink payments)

• Willingness to develop your work and personal skills

• Interest in areas of skill shortages

What you will get:

Relief - you don't have to worry about your career or work - you've got help!

Support - a professional career consultant to help in a way that suits you

Introduction to employers - they will also be committed to working with youth

Work experience opportunities - in areas of skill shortage

Training - up to $900 into accredited training

Community Involvement - so many great things you can help out with, and learn from!

Paid participation in the Duke of Edinburgh Award

An adventure journey away - Bushwalking? Mountain Biking? Kayaking? All expenses paid!

NO! (But it's worth several thousands for each participant - really - and it's free to you!)
